I FEEL: Moving From Hopelessness to Hope

Creating while I process my emotions has always been a way to heal and move through challenging feelings. My first solo exhibition, I FEEL: Moving From Hopelessness to Hope, is the story of how I learned to move through heartbreak and grief and make room for new feelings to grow.

The series is a combination of beadwork and acrylic painting inspired by a series of poems told through vivid representational imagery in vibrant technocolour.

You can’t truly escape your feelings, and there are lots of different ways to get them out, but simply feeling them was the best way that I was able to move forward.

I FEEL: in TECHNICOLOR

Watch the full length digitally manipulated animated short film that brings the beadwork to life in full technicolor.

In memory of my brother Jacob, forever in all of my art.

And for Jane. Thank you for giving me the space to feel.

And for all the love and the loss that inspired these words.
